Who We Are
The Community Empowerment Program (CEP) is a community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of refugees and host communities in South Sudan. We work together with communities, local authorities and partners to create sustainable change through empowerment, capacity building, and protection.

Our Mission
To empower refugee and host communities in South Sudan with skills, livelihoods, and protection so they can live with dignity and self-reliance.

Our Vision
A peaceful and inclusive society where refugees and host communities live with dignity, equality and opportunities for all.

Our Core Values
Dignity & Respect
We treat every refugee and host community member with respect, recognizing their skills, culture, and right to self-determination.
Inclusion & Non-Discrimination
We ensure equal access and opportunities for women, men, youth, persons with disabilities, and both refugees and host communities.
Empowerment & Self-Reliance
We build capacity, not dependency. Our goal is to equip people with skills and resources to lead their own change.
Accountability & Transparency
We are honest in how we manage resources, report results, and engage with our members, partners, and the community.
Community-Led Action
We design and implement programs with refugees, not for them. Local leadership and participation come first.
Peace & Social Cohesion
We promote unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence between refugees and host populations in all our work.
Integrity & Professionalism
We act ethically, keep our promises, and uphold the highest standards in our services and partnerships
Innovation & Learning
We are open to new ideas, adapt to feedback, and continuously improve our programs based on community needs.
We believe in people. We invest in communities. Together, we build a better future.
